Online Training Module
Preventing Sexual Harassment
Objectives
Developed by the Equal Opportunities Commission and jointly supported by eight tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, this online module aims to extend students’ knowledge on sexual harassment and give them practical steps to respond to, and appropriately intervene in incidences of, sexual harassment.
About
The online training module contains two parts which cover a series of animated videos that help students learn while having fun. It will take approximately 45 to 50 minutes to complete the whole training module. You can learn at your own pace, take it all at once or complete it in phases.
- Part 1 – How to define sexual harassment and how to deal with it with various reporting options, together with a short quiz at the end.
- Part 2 – Various scenarios that could happen during university life, together with some pop-up questions.
Completion
Students who complete the training will get an electronic certificate and an excellent souvenir (a cable master kit; first-come-first-served while stock lasts)(only applicable to students of Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate programmes).
Students will be informed of the details of souvenir collection by email upon completion of the whole training module.
