About the Experience
Part 1: Dark - Insight Without Sight
In the dark, the roles will be reversed – the sighted will be led by the visually impaired. Throughout the role exchange, participants will be able to appreciate the world without light, and realize that even without vision, the world can still be a beautiful and colourful place.
Part 2: Silence - Moving Beyond Speech
Throughout the activities in the silence led by deaf trainers, with challenging tasks and limited resources, we aim to enhance and develop participants’ creativity; communication and collaboration, to experience emotional & ideological transformation.
Learning Objectives
- To develop more awareness towards respecting individual differences thus social inclusiveness; and
- To enhance participants’ listening, empathy, and open-minded to learn and share; and
- To know each other while participants will solve problems together in the dark; and
- To improve participants' adaptability and resilience when facing unexpected challenges and changes in their work environments
